The joy of serving others is the reason for living. I have had the privilege of pastoring for many years in East Dallas, and through all of that time nothing exceeds the joy of watching God change lives no matter the circumstances or impossibilities that they we're currently in at that moment of need. I am now currently serving as a Hospice Chaplain and serving my local church family through leading one of our Generations Church Core Groups in the area nursing facilities. Generations Church has a vision to reach people where they are, and we do this through the connections that each of our members have within the community. I am honored to carry the vision God put in my heart long ago through Potter's Wheel Ministries, where "Allowing God to Shape Our Lives" is the only thing that I've found that truly lasts. I appreciate my pastor John Lea and the Generations Church leadership that is in my life today who fans the flame to serve wherever God has you. Generations Church Core Groups are not merely just meetings or church functions, but rather, they're family gatherings where we do life together through fellowship in Jesus Christ and our love for one another. We get out into the fields of life that are ripe and ready to harvest and bring the church to those who cannot otherwise come underneath our church building.
